Going home tomorrow and would really like to find something within walking or bus distance, don't have a car!

You could try the El Elefante or Bonanza bar for live entertainment. El Elefante is situated in Plaza Bonanza and the Bonanza Bar is just above & off of Bonanza Square. The entertainment doesn't start until around 10pm though in either.
Also with live entertainment is Buzbys, a bar situated on the coast road almost opposite the Hotel Riviera. Capones next to the Elefante is a music and karaoke bar and CJ's on the Bonanza strip, just past the catholic church is also a karaoke bar.
There are plenty of clubs, discos etc in Benalmadena Marina and, of course, there is 24hr square on the main road near McDonalds.
My favourite is El Elefante which goes on till 2am. The resident band "Revival" are good and there is always a good act on as well. If Terri Fox is on there tonight, you'll have a laugh.
